Badgers Creek

Badgers Creek Winery is located in Victoria, the southern Australian state bordering the ocean to the south. Most of the year the climate is relatively warm and humid ideal for vine growing. Wine culture in Victoria began in the 19th century, and today it is considered one of the main areas for vine growing and wine production with more than 600 wineries spread throughout the region. Despite the abundance of wineries, the Victoria region produces less wine than other growing areas in Australia, since the wineries specialize in small boutique quantities.

The Valley of Yaara, also home to the Badgers Creek Winery, is considered cooler than the rest of Victoria. The region specializes in the production of wines suitable for cold climate and methods similar to the province of Provence, France.
